Apartment building collapses in Istanbul

Rescuers hunted for survivors Thursday in the wreckage of an Istanbul apartment building that collapsed.
There was no immediate word on casualties, the BBC reported.
The cause of the failure was unknown, although previous building collapses have been blamed on shoddy construction. Residents of the area said that construction next door may have been responsible, CNN said.

Architect’s design on staff co-op

Chris Stewart will operate Collective Architecture as a co-operative and staff have prepared a manifesto.
